Company Spotlight:
Since 2023, Brewery Faisan, a female owned craft brewery in Detroit, has generously donated the use of their entire space for our programs and events. Thanks to their support, Bird Brain Trivia Nights have become an amazing place for bird nerds to gather and build our birding community.

Foundation Spotlight:
In 2025 the Gilbert Family Foundation awarded DBA $250,000 to expand our Detroit Bird City Project. These vital funds support efforts by both of our organizations to restore green spaces that benefit people, wildlife, and the watershed.
For Local Partners
We partner with local nonprofits, municipalities, and universities to expand our reach and maximize efforts to support birds in our own backyard.
Partner Spotlight:
In 2025 and again in 2026 the Local 58, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers has sponsored our largest fundraising event of the year, Raptors on the River. Thanks to their generosity, all funds raised for this event can go directly to our work for birds.
